While we love your children, this is a kid-free wedding. You're more than welcome to bring your kids with you, as Steamboat is a very family friendly town! However, please arrange a babysitter to watch them during the main events on Friday & Saturday. You can reach out to Resort Sitters to arrange for a sitter.
The attire to our wedding ceremony and reception is black tie. We also recommend bringing a light shawl or jacket as temperatures dip in the mountains and can sometimes be unpredictable!
Our venue is located just outside of downtown Steamboat. Transportation will be provided and we will post the schedule as we get closer to the wedding date. The shuttles will depart promptly at 3:15 PM.
We're kicking off the weekend with drinks at E3 Chophouse in the heart of downtown Steamboat! Please plan to eat at one of our favorite spots in town (see Things To Do Page for our favorites) and then join us after dinner to say hello from 7:30-10:30 PM! We can't wait to celebrate!
Think of it as a country-western take on cocktail attire. If you brought your cowboy boots or hat, we encourage you to wear them! For ladies, think flowy dresses, jumpsuit or dressy skirt! For men, think a blazer or sport coat - no tie necessary (unless it’s a bolo tie, of course!)
Celebrating with us is the greatest gift. If you wish to give us something more, we have a registry with Zola and Bloomingdale’s!
The weather in Steamboat in August is warm during the days with a gentle breeze, with average highs of 75°F-81°F and lows of 45-50°F. We recommend a light jacket for when the sun dips in the evening and be prepared with an umbrella or jacket in case of an afternoon shower.
There will only be one pickup time on Saturday as our ceremony starts at 4:00 PM. If you miss the shuttle, please plan to Uber/Lyft to the venue or you can drive yourself. Please note, Uber/Lyft are harder to come by in small ski towns so taking the shuttle will be best!
