Welcome Party

We are so excited to welcome all of our favorite people to Kansas City for our big weekend! We will be kicking off the weekend with a little welcome party at the WXYZ Bar located in the Aloft hotel lobby (also connected to the Cascade hotel). This will be a fun and casual kickoff event. There will be games, photos, soft drinks and light desserts for all that attend. Please come kick off the big weekend with us, before we say "I do"!

Our Ceremony

Please join us for an unplugged ceremony beginning at 5 PM at the Melrose Abbey. Front gates will open at 4:30 PM. Be sure to catch the shuttle running from the hotel to the venue, starting at 4:15 PM.
Our Reception
6:30 pm - 10:45 pm

There will be a cocktail hour on the balcony and front lawn, between the ceremony and reception for all guests to enjoy a light refreshment, while we finalize photos. We will kick start the reception, with dinner, drinks, speeches and dancing at 6:30. Be sure to grab some cash for a traditional “dollar dance” to celebrate the happy couple, on their first night as husband and wife. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
After Party

Not ready to call it a night? No worries! We will be taking the party just two blocks down the road to a Kansas City staple, Kelly’s Westport Inn, for a cheap and fun night cap to round out the night. 21 and over.
