We invite to you to meet us at the Cascade Bar located in the A Loft Hotel, as we kick off the start to the weekend. We will have light desserts for all that attend. We invite our guests to book a room at the hotel under our room block, to get the best rate and enjoy the evening with us before the big day!

Our Ceremony

Please join us for an unplugged ceremony beginning at 5 PM at the Melrose Abbey. Front gates will open at 4:30 PM. Be sure to catch the shuttle running from the hotel to the venue, starting at 4:15 PM.
Our Reception
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

There will be a cocktail hour on the balcony and front lawn, between the ceremony and reception for all guests to enjoy a light refreshment, while we finalize photos. We will kick start the reception, with dinner, drinks, speeches and dancing at 6:30. Be sure to grab some cash for a traditional “dollar dance” to celebrate the happy couple, on their first night as husband and wife.

Not ready to call it a night? No worries! We will be taking the party just two blocks down the road to a Kansas City staple, Kelly’s Westport Inn, for a cheap and fun night cap to round out the night. 21 and over.
