Keara's favorite restaurant in the city! Although the Muhammara is not as good as Keara's dad's, it is the best in the city! They have kibbeh niyyah and delicious fettah! We highly recommend the Kanafe for dessert! They require the tasting menu on weekends but if you are in the city on Thursday - go off the tasting menu - the best foods are not on the tasting menu!

Everything is amazing and spicy! Just the way we like it! No matter what you order, save room for shaved iced!
Gilda
The Pasteis de Nata is the best! Keara craved these since going to Portugal and now we get our fix whenever we want!
John's Roast Pork
Cheesesteaks, Roast Pork Sandwiches, Breakfast Sandwiches. All Amazing. TBH a must-try.

The Victor Café

South Philly Barbacoa
Get the barbacoa and consome soup! this is served at breakfast time! If you come to the city before the wedding, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Watch chef Christina Martinez on Chef's table, it aired in 2018!
Isgro Pastries
James Bear Finalist. Best Cannolis in the city (don't @ me). They are known for their pignoli cookies, but there is no bad option. We celebrate many birthdays with an Isgo's cake: - chocolate strawberry mousse - chocolate raspberry ganache -chocolate peanut butter ganache you can order online for pickup!

Arguably the best cheesesteak in the city (country??). great pizza. Cash only!

If they didn't move locations, this was our top choice in wedding venues! We LOVE asian food! Keara can eat multiple orders of the spicy cucumber dish and we both love the dan dan noodles! We celebrated Keara's 31st and Jamie's 35th birthday here!

Bride and Groom's First Date! This holds a special place in our hearts! The food is yummy and the cocktails are on point! We love to come back on our anniversary but truly any date night is made when we are here!

Go to for breakfast pastries! Quincy gets his "nonut" on weekends! We probably go once 3 of the 4 weekends a month! pistachio cornetti is amazing! Quincy opts for the chocolate bomboloni!

Jamie's former roommate is the founder and his bestie's partner is the head chef. They have both been on the Drew Barrymore show twice making them our "famous friends" Their Kale Ceasar Cutlet hoagie went viral on TikTok but our favorite is the Fig and Pig! Don't sleep on their breakfast sandwiches - they are amazing!
Sulimay's Restaurant
Great diner in Fishtown. We go there often - kid friendly. Not the cleanest, but part of the charm. Cash only, but also accepts Venmo!
Castellino's Italian Market
Hoagies are amazing and the people could not be nicer! We have ordered from here since moving to Fishtown. With our allegiance to Liberty Kitchen, it has become less frequent but still a top-notch choice.

The pancakes are amazing! Smiley face butter and a hint of orange in the pancake! Known for their breakfast sandwiches, but their dinner is so good!! We have celebrated both Keara and Jamie's birthday in their back room!

French Onion Soup is amazing and you can grab a loaf of bread and bring to Rittenhouse Park!
