1-4p Welcome Hike: Join us as we start off the wedding festivities with a hike on the legendary Trail of 10 Falls! As a group we will commit to doing the Winter Falls loop, starting at South Falls, which is 5 miles long and will see 7 of the 10 falls (you are welcome to do more or less based on your ability / interest!) Please let us know that you are coming on the hike ahead of time so that we can make sure to have enough parking passes for you! We recommend to wear: -sturdy, closed-toe shoes or hiking sandals with good traction due to potentially slick, muddy, and rocky conditions -dress in layers to adapt to changing temperatures -a rain jacket or poncho, as waterfall spray is common. 3-5p Smith Creek Village / Lodging Check-in: Those who are staying in the Smith Creek Village accommodations in Silver Falls State Park can begin checking in at 3p or after the hike if you’re partaking. For those staying elsewhere, please take this time to check in to your lodging and relax! 6:30p - Venue Set-up / Thank You Dinner: After our wedding rehearsal, we could use a little help bringing our venue to life! For those interested, we’d love help decorating and setting up the wedding venue. To thank those who pitch in, we’ll be serving a tamale dinner from a local Mexican restaurant as a small token of our appreciation. Of course, there’s absolutely no pressure! If you’d rather spend the evening further exploring beautiful Silver Falls or enjoying charming downtown Silverton, we completely understand and encourage it!
Morning of: We’ll be taking some quiet time prior to the festivities to get ready and soak it all in, so we won’t be hosting any activities or meals until later in the day. We encourage you to enjoy the morning however you'd like—Silverton has plenty of great breakfast spots if you feel like exploring town, or if you'd rather stay close and squeeze in a bit more hiking, the café at Smith Creek Village offers coffee and grab-and-go items to fuel your adventure. We hope you take this time to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the area before the celebrations begin! 3p Shuttle Van begins: To help reduce traffic and keep things simple, we’re offering a shuttle van from the Smith Creek Village lower parking lot to the venue between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Seating is limited, so we encourage guests to arrive as early as possible! While you wait or once you arrive, enjoy lawn games and beverages starting at 3:00 PM! The shuttle will pause during the ceremony and resume after dinner, but if you need to leave earlier, just check in with the driver. 4pm Ceremony and Reception: Remember! Last shuttle will be at 11pm.
9a-12p Post-Wedding Clean-up & Goodbyes: Before we head out, we’d love a few helping hands to pack up and tidy the venue. We’ll have plenty of leftovers from the night before to fuel us, but if you’re craving something else, the Big Leaf Market at Smith Creek Village has great grab-and-go options. Whether you’re pitching in or just stopping by, we’d love for you to come say goodbye before we all head our separate ways!
