We're getting married!

We met at college move-in. We were on the same hall for freshman year and became close friends. It wasn't until sophomore year studying abroad in France and unironically going to the movies on Valentine's Day together (still as friends) that we realized we had something more.

We were visiting a botanical garden to "take pictures for our friends' wedding invitations" and we started posing for some impromptu photos of our own. While she was posing and fixing her hair, I got down on one knee and popped the question once she turned back toward me. She said "YES" and so now we get to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
