Travel Note
We recommend reserving your travel and accommodations as far in advance as possible due to hotels and rentals booking quickly. The easiest route is to fly directly into the Martha's Vineyard Airport, though this can be expensive. You can also fly into Boston (Boston Logan International Airport) and then take a bus, rent a car, or get an Uber to Woods Hole and take the ferry directly to Martha's Vineyard. The most affordable way to get from Boston to the ferry is the Peter Pan Bus Lines. The Steamship Authority offers roundtrip car and passenger ferry service from Woods Hole, MA (on Cape Cod) to Martha's Vineyard. The ride is about 45 minutes, and will take you to either Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs (both of which are convenient). If you would like to bring your car to the island, 2023 Summer reservations open January 24, 2023 at 5:00 a.m. EST. Note that these reservations fill up fast, and you will likely need to join the waitlist. We recommend creating an account on the Steamship Authority website to register your vehicle and have all information ready to go prior to the 24th.
Travel Note
Whether you prefer the amenities of a hotel or the solitude of a private home, there are many boutique hotels, inns, air bnb's, and rentals to choose from across the island. We have included some of the larger hotels below. The Vineyard consists of six towns and is generally a small island, but we recommend staying in either Edgartown or Oak Bluffs, if possible. These two towns have lots to do and put you conveniently close to the wedding. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, you may still easily get around via uber, taxi, or the convenient bus system that connects all island towns.
Hotel
This Hotel is in the heart of Oak Bluffs and is only about a mile from the East Chop Beach Club (where the wedding will be).
