High Rock Overlook has amazing views. There is no hiking required, you drive up to the overlook. While there is no address, if you search "High Rock" in google, the directions will appear. It is approximately 15 minutes from the venue.
The Royer–Nicodemus House and Farm, also known as the Renfrew Museum and Park, is an historic, American home and farm that is located in Waynesboro about 10 minutes from the venue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Renfrew is definitely a beautiful place to visit.

With but few minor changes and repairs, the Jennie Wade House Museum remains much as Jennie must have known it more than 150 years ago. Authentically furnished from cellar to attic, the museum is not only a shrine to a heroic martyr but has become a museum of life during the American Civil War. The Jennie Wade Gift Shop features unique gifts and collectibles as well as Jennie Wade souvenirs.
Land of Little Horses Interactive Animal Theme Park had a humble beginning in 1971. This 100-acre farm located just west of Gettysburg, PA became the home for 24 miniature horse and a favorite stop for tourists. Originally named the Gettysburg Miniature Horse Farm, visitors flocked to see the tiny equine. But my how we have grown! 52 years later, the park still remains quite an attraction with its namesake miniature horses still the main draw. However, performing animal shows, educational displays and events, races and animals of all kinds that you may actually touch and feed delight the audiences year after year. Pony rides, wagon rides, Train rides and special seasonal events such as our summer day camp and autumn fall festival keep everyone coming back for another visit all year long.

She went from being a loving wife and mother of a financially-comfortable family, to a destitute widow and single mother of five children in just two years. Despite these challenges, she thrived, and went on to become America’s first native-born saint. Among her accomplishments are beginning the first free Catholic school for girls in the U.S. and founding the first new order of Sisters in the U.S. This order now includes thousands of Sisters and collaborators who serve the poor and marginalized throughout the world. Plan a visit to the Shrine in Emmitsburg and begin at our Visitor Center. There’s no admission fee and parking is free.
The Dobbin House Tavern, known also as Dobbin House, on 89 Steinwehr Avenue in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is a tavern which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was established in 1776, making it the oldest standing structure in the town limits of Gettysburg.
You may know what happened on the battlefields . . . but do you know what happened to the families and their homes in town? One of the finest homes in town was built in 1860 as residence for the Shriver family and a business for George: ‘Shriver’s Saloon & Ten-Pin Alley’. Every room frozen in time and accurately furnished to its 1860s appearance. Original bloodstained sharpshooters nest in the attic, CSI Detectives confirmed bloodstains where eyewitnesses confirm soldiers were shot and killed. Families were left with the devastating aftermath families when the soldiers retreated. Hidden Civil War medical supplies found during the restoration attests to wounded soldiers treated in the house, numerous bullet holes scar the bricks.
