Wedding Party

Meet our lovely family & friends

Laura Rosas

Maid of Honor

Sister of the bride-- Laura, or Moe Moe in our home, was the best Christmas present I got in 1992. We've been through it all together and she's the best sibling a gal could have. She's someone you want to have in your corner with her tough and tender heart. She's brilliant and she's gonna be the best doctor ever -- in my humble but correct opinion. I'm so lucky to have her!

Amanda Muzny

Matron of Honor

Amanda was a year older and a year wiser on the playground in grade school. We've known each other since kindergarten and I'm grateful for the friendship we've grown over the years. I've always looked up to Amanda ever since she taught me to tie my shoes. From snacking at her house after school in high school to long distance phone calls that make feeling out of state feel less far away. I'm so glad we're finally both Texans again!

Meg Swaback

Bridesmaid

We met during a Tornado Watch hiding out in the stairwell our first year at SLU. We went on to be roommates Junior and Senior year. Megs has been my person to laugh with and cry with...mostly crying from laughing so hard. Our friendship can be counted in family vacations, pints of ice cream, cookies, dance parties, and Netflix binges. What a gift!

Clare Dunbar

Bridesmaid

We've known each other since first grade but it was in high school that our friendship really took off. We went to youth group together at church and I knew I could always be open and honest with Clare. She has a heart that has room for everyone and a deep joy that reminds me to find joy in all things. We've talked silly things and serious things (all over coffee) and she's my go to gal for fun book recommendations. Feel free to come back to Texas any time now!

Lara Ericson

Bridesmaid

I met Lara during Divinity school at Boston College and we have been friends ever since. From talking Theology to movie nights, snow day sleepovers, apple picking, and drives to the beach, Lara made living in Boston the best. I am honored by her friendship and inspired by her heart of gold. I love all of her Lara-isms and attention to detail (I trust her grammar skills over anyone else's any day) and I'm so grateful for all our adventures great and small!

Merijke Coenraad

Bridesmaid

Merijke was the best random roommate ever (Thanks, Al lol). We lived together during our last year in Boston while Merijke was teaching and I was grad schooling and we bonded over books, baked goods, barre, and cheesy Netflix shows. I think she's the only person to get me to work out before 7 a.m. (that one time, hah) Merijke has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know -- she has a faith that includes everyone and she loves her friends so well. And, she's the one who made me brave enough to reach out to Paul after seeing each other in Boston--way to make it happen! Merijke and I got another year together in the same city living in DC before I left for Texas. I'm so glad we got to eat lots of Thai food and watch Full House before I did!

Scott Roth

Best Man

Scott is my big brother and the oldest of the Roth children. I can remember writing role model essays in elementary school that still ring true today. Scott has the biggest heart of anyone I know and has been one of my strongest cheerleaders. Now in our adulthood, he and my sister-in-law Noelle have become dear friends to Anna and me. Fun Fact: Scott was responsible for teaching me Photoshop in the 7th Grade and it changed my life forever.

Kevin Keith

Groomsman

I don't think there is a single interest Kevin and I don't share. After meeting my freshman year of high school, we went on to play on the same soccer and volleyball teams, attend the same youth group, worked the same high school jobs, and both study and pursue careers in design. We've been through it all together and have lifetimes of inside jokes and deep life chats to show for it. I am deeply grateful for Kevin's friendship. Fun Fact: Our wardrobes are 95% the same.

Rob Lothman

Groomsman

Some friendships are made for you. Introduced through our older siblings (shoutout Caitlin and JLo), Rob made it his mission to bring me into his friend group during our first week of high school. Over the years, that has turned into countless small groups, basement hangs, trips and football games. Incredibly thoughtful and kind, Rob's always been the guy to help keep me centered in good times and bad. Fun Fact: We've got a musical duo called "Heartbreak Technicians", check us out on MySpace.

Chris Kelly

Groomsman

Like Kevin and Rob, we met the first week of high school and never looked back. Always down for an adventure, Chris is the most entertaining person in my life. Highlights include providing Katrina relief in Louisiana, Music Festivals in Austin and Boston, and hot springs in Iceland. Chris is an incredibly reliable friend who welcomes every conversation, just make sure to not ask him the best way to get up a mountain. Fun Fact: Chris is the reason we're getting married! I flew to Boston to visit him, but last-minute Chris realized he had to fly home to STL for his sister's graduation party, leaving me all alone. I ended up getting lunch with Anna instead :D

Marc Remmert

Groomsman

Marc and I met on the bus to our first Awakening retreat through the Catholic Student Center at WashU our freshman year and went on to build a great friendship over many more Sunday night masses, retreats, and countless bowls of soup. When I moved to Austin after graduation, I was extremely fortunate that Marc and his now-wife Maria (who I also met on the same retreat) joined me in Texas a few months later. Through four years of college and going on 6 years in Texas, Marc has seen me go through every up and down as I've come into my adult self, and the last ten year years would've surely looked different if not for his steady friendship. Fun Fact: Marc and I are exact opposites on the Myers-Briggs.
