We love to go hike here!! There is limited parking but once you get into nature, it is worth the limited amount of parking!
This is not only where we have had many picnics, but where we got engaged! It offers many scenic trails, flowers, trees wildlife, and nature.
If you ask Keith and Conni, this is one of their favorite places to go when they visit. Near our future home, VDF is a staple to people from all over the PRP/Valley Station/Dixie area and serves some wonderful ice cream, milk shakes, and flurries (they will LITERALLY put anything you want together. great people if you ask me).
If you ask us, this is where it all started. (in the voice of Sophia Petrillo) Picture it, Dixie HWY, early December, 2021. I was the only customer in the store and Mark was the only barista working. Long story short, I knocked a candle off the table (sorry David and Julie), he cleaned it up, and I left more embarrassed than I have ever been in my life. Here we are now, getting ready to get married. Great coffee and great community are here (the Bee Charmer is a favorite of mine, but if you catch it in the fall, you will get all those great flavors and more!).
Ya want something? Bardstown Road probably has it! It has some of our favorites (Value Market to walk around before hitting up Baxter Avenue Movie Theater, Ramen House, Skyline Chili, Dragon Kings Daughter, Public House, etc.) This is our date night essential if we don't know exactly what we want to do.
