Brendan and William have known each other since 2015, but really became close friends in the summer of 2016 over a perfectly responsible number of Super Mai Tais and quite reasonably ending up in the Pacific ocean in their underwear twice...I think? It's a bit blurry. The peak of bromance was probably achieved backpacking Nepal in the winter of 2019; despite that spat where Brendan was mad at William "for being grumpy" while his lung filled with fluid at almost 18,000 feet. This was quickly made up for by the utterly endearing look of concern and panic when Brendan realized his friend was sort of dying and there was nothing they could do but keep hiking. In October of 2021, William was honored to be Brendan's best man in his wedding. And now he gets to return the favor.
Veronica Sloan
Maid of Honor
Veronica and Mayson met in 2010 at a dingy basement apartment party. They were painfully insecure and awkward and said no more than a passive “hey” to each other, but years of friendship would later reveal they were intimidated by the sheer power and coolness they believed the other radiated. Things moved quickly after that. Veronica and Mayson were inseparable; spending their summer days jumping on Veronica’s childhood trampoline, eating junk food, listening to Rock n’ Roll's greats, and planning secret Luau parties. Thirteen years later and not much has changed: they still think the other is the coolest person in the room and Mayson is honored to have Veronica part of this very special party.
Jayme Tostado-Crabaugh
Bridesmaid
Jayme and Mayson have known each since 2011 but declared their best friendship in 2012 when on a road trip to see Best Coast, a band that brought them together. Jayme and Mayson have a long resume of swapping outfits at parties to see if anyone notices (they always notice), writing, directing, and filming satirical infomercials, and getting songs stuck in each other’s head (OOOOOOOOO-klahoma where the wind…). Jayme is one of the brightest lights in Mayson’s life; her support has never wavered and only continues to provide a solid foundation on which Mayson can stand. It is only fitting that Jayme walk her down the aisle- an honor Mayson will never forget.
