No, we are not. This will be a wishing well wedding. Participation is, of course, optional.

I'm not bringing a guest and it will not let me submit without a name, is a plus one required?

Absolutely not! This is a problem I'm unsure how to fix. Please simply put none as the name or have fun and put in a character name then hit decline :)
