Let the show begin

I remember the first day I ever saw Nick. It was my first day back to Maurices, after Covid. I was working with my boss, Sara, and the UPS guy showed up. I was expecting our normal old UPS driver, I was wrong. It was this young cute guy and I wanted to know about him, but he was a sub and we didn't know when we would see him again. About a week or 2 later, our UPS driver hurt himself and he was out for few months. I got lucky! Why you ask? Nick, was his sub for those few months!!! Yes, I would try to be the one that open the door. Nick and I would talk for few minutes and then he would have to go or I would have to go back to work. It took FOUR months, and Sara had to give him my phone number, for him to get that I was interested in him. He will tell you that he was going to ask for it but Sara beat him to it. No one believes him though. 2 and half years, moving in together and a puppy later, he asked me and I said YES!!!!! He couldn't do it any better. We go up north to Caseville every year with my family. It is the best way to end the school year. Caseville is my happy place, beach with pretty sunsets, family and day drinking, it can't get any better then that. Well he made it even better!! At sunset, he made sure my family was there, my mom video called his family, my second mom (Abby) called my grandparents in Airzona and Sara's (who couldn't make it) husband video called her. Everyone says I knew it was happening. But I didn't!! I had no clue!! I had a feeling that it would have happened this year, I didn't know how or when or where though. He did a wonderful job and he was able to surprise me. I love this man to the Death Star and back. Always 3000, and he knows. The nerd wedding is coming and it will go, but at the end I will have his last name.
