We met while meeting up with mutual friends at a local sports bar on football Sunday. My Dallas Cowboys were playing the Giants (boo!) and his AZ Cardinals were playing the Raiders. Both of our teams won and I guess you can say we won as well!

Layla's birthday often falls on Mothers day weekend so we planned a staycation at the The Westin Kierland. Robert told me that he had invited some of our friends to meet us up for a special Mother's Day brunch followed by cake and gifts for our baby Layla. He carefully planned every detail of our stay to make it absolutely memorable. When he started his heartfelt Mother's Day speech and I looked at our kids and slowly panned the room at how many of our friends and family were present. That's when I knew... This was FINALLY it! I cry every time I watch that proposal video because I know how he wanted this to be a memorable day for both me and our family and he delivered. It was a day that our little family will never forget.
