"Though she be little, she is fierce!" Lis is the reason Mayra packed up her stuff, left her hometown of Eagle Pass, TX, and moved to the big city. Thanks to that push, Mayra found her confidence and independence and how to be her own woman. Plus, she wouldn't have met Justin if she never left Eagle Pass. Lis knows exactly what to say to her little sister when she feels scared or overwhelmed. If there has been one constant support system in Mayra's life, it has been her. She has been there through thick and thin and will continue to do so including standing next to her as she takes another exciting life changing step.

Reed and Justin were co-workers for may years and began to develop a friendship outside of work. Even after Reed left the company they still remained friends. Through Birthdays, Holidays, and special events Reed has remained an important part in both Justin and Mayra's lives. He has definitely made the jump from close to friend to pretty much family. If there is one thing that both Mayra and Justin hold close to their hearts it's friendship, and you can't ask for a more loyal, compassionate, funny, and overall great friend than Reed.

Mayra met Jessica at work a few years ago, and they immediately hit it off. They bonded over their love of #TGIT and dogs. Y'know, the important things in life. Since then the two have been pretty much inseparable. They have shared so many amazing memories, within the last couple years, and now they get to add this to their long list of stories to reminisce about when they are retired, rich and sitting on a beach somewhere.

"The better part of one's life consists of their friendships"-Abraham Lincoln Chris and Justin became friends 20 years ago in high school and are still great friends to this day. They grew up together in Springfield, Illinois and still remained close after Justin moved down to Dallas, TX almost twelve years ago. To say that Chris is just a friend would be an understatement. He, and his family, are an important part in both Justin and Mayra's lives and will always be so. Chris has been there for Justin for so many years that it only makes sense he would be there for the most important part of his life.

Since then, they shared so many memories including GNO, holiday get togethers, and the most important part...... when she told Mayra and Justin they were getting another nephew!That's right folks! She's pretty much family! She's been such an awesome support system, through out the years, and Mayra can always count on her for some good advice and silly talks.

Ryan and Justin have been friends for 20 years and grew up together in the town of Springfield, Illinois. They grew up playing music together and were room mates for several years. Their friendship has lasted two decades and still continues to grow. Even though they may live in different cities across the country their friendship will always keep them connected and they will always be important parts of each others lives.
