Mayra y Gerardo se conocieron en enero del 2010. Mayra tenia 19 y Gerardo tenia 22. Mayra llego al negocio familiar y mientras ella mantenia una conversacion con Corina, la madre de Gerardo, Gerardo coqueteaba con otra muchacha en la caja registradora. Pero, fue tan fuerte la atraccion entre ellos, que los dos cruzaron miradas por primera vez, y el sentimiento de atraccion total fue mutuo. No paso mucho tiempo y comenzaron a salir. Su historia comenzo en Marzo 15 del 2010, cuando decidieron hacer su relacion formal. Asi pasaron cinco meses hasta que Gerardo tuvo que dejar la ciudad de Fresno para seguir sus suenos de estudiar leyes en la ciudad de San Francisco. Ya estando en San Francisco los dos hicieron lo posible por visitarse uno al otro tan seguido como fuera posible. Pero a ninguno de los dos les gustaba la distancia. Asi que en febrero del 2011 Mayra toma la desicion de dejarlo todo en Fresno y mudarse a San francisco para estar con el amor de su vida. En el 2012, sin celebracion y sin dinero pero con mucho amor, decidieron casarce por lo civil en la ciudad de San Francisco, solo con los familiares mas cercanos a ellos. Ellos describen esta epoca de sus vidas como la mas hermosa, no tenian mucho pero tampoco lo nececitaban para ser completamente felices. En el 2013, Gerardo termina su carrera en leyes y deciden regresar a la ciudad que vio su amor nacer, Fresno. Desde entonces la familia a crecido. Hoy son padres de tres hermosos pequenos, Emma, Mathias, y Natalia, que completan y validan el amor que sigue creciendo entre ellos. Es por eso que esta celebracion es tan especial para ellos . Este es el festejo de estos trece anos de amor que por fin van a poder compartir con todos los seres que de alguna manera u otra an sido parte de sus vidas, su historia de crecimiento y amor.
