Pumpkin Göreme Restaurant And Art Gallery
Such a sweet place situated in the streets of Goreme. The price is on the higher-end by Turkey/Cappadocia standards, but given that it's a set menu, the portions were very generous and worth the price. The set menu has slight variations and changes every so often. Can't wait to be back in Göreme to dine at Pumpkin again. Make sure you book a reservation well in advance!
Kocabağ Winery
Kocabağ is one of our favorite local wine brands in Turkey. I particularly like Okuzgozu/red wine. We loved testing those delicious wines in a very friendly atmosphere. From experience I can tell that Kocabağ “Emir” is an ideal white wine for any occasion, especially with cheese or fruits. Good wines, good customer care. Reasonable prices. Close to Pigeon Valley view point and Uchisar Castle.
Viewpoint Cafe & Restaurant
Located in the centre of Göreme, in the heart of Cappadocia, Viewpoint Cafe and Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals from the panoramic terrace. The menu changes every day and there are always vegetarian dishes as well as home-made desserts, soups and salads. Both Turkish and international dishes star on the menu and you can enjoy a meal or a snack in the restaurant or outside on the terrace which affords amazing views over all the valleys of Göreme with a breath-taking 360-degree panorama.
