Shuttle Information for September 10

For those of you staying at Clearwater or wanting to take the shuttle to Kiana on Saturday, September 10: Shuttles from Clearwater Resort to Kiana Lodge: Please meet in the lobby of the TOWER Building Shuttles to start running at 4:15pm and run continuously until 5:00 Shuttles from Kiana Lodge back to Clearwater Resort: Shuttles back to Clearwater Resort begin at 10:30, 11:30, and again at midnight Please note that children under 12 are not permitted on the shuttle.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The venue has plenty of complimentary parking. The Clearwater Resort also offers free parking to guests staying there. If you prefer to take the shuttle from the hotel, you can leave your car at the hotel.

Are we drinking?

Answer

You betcha! The open bar will serve beer, wine, liquor and as well as non-alcoholic options.

What is the weather like in Washington in September?

Answer

September can be fickle, with temperature ranging from the 50s-70s. Of course, rain is always a possibility... but more of a sprinkle than a downpour. You don't typically have to worry about humidity. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held indoors.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Cocktail. The ceremony will be outside (barring any unpleasant weather) and the reception will be mixed indoor-outdoor. There is an ample lawn outside, so plan for shoes that can navigate soft (and potentially soggy) grass.
