When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that all guests submit their RSVP by March 2nd. Your response helps us plan the day smoothly.

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at the Gaines Lodge inside Table Rock State Park in South Carolina. A map will be included with your invitation—please bring it with you, as it provides directions and also serves as your entry ticket to the park. Most GPS apps will direct you to the East Gate, but that entrance will be closed. Instead, continue just a bit farther to the West Gate, which will be the next entrance on your right. The address for the West Gate is 1025 Table Rock State Park Rd, Pickens, SC 29671. At the fee station, show the attendant your map/ticket for free entry. (If you pay for park access, the park cannot issue refunds.) After entering through the West Gate, follow the road as it winds up the mountain. Stay straight on this path, and you’ll eventually reach the Gaines Lodge on your right.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:00pm, therefore, we ask that you arrive no later than 2:45 pm so that you have ample time to find your seat, grab a drink or snack, and make yourself comfortable. We recommend that you leave for the venue earlier than intended, as you will need to drive through the park and up a portion of the mountain to reach the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Garden Party Formal or Semi Formal. Choose something polished but comfortable for a spring mountain wedding. Dresses, jumpsuits, suits, and dress shirts all fit the vibe. Think elevated daytime wear with a touch of elegance. Examples: • Midi or maxi dresses, florals, pastels • Dressy jumpsuits or skirts with a nice top • Suits or dress pants with a button-down (tie optional) • Dressy flats, loafers, or wedges. Heels are an option but there are grassy spots. Please avoid white dresses, jeans, shorts, and very casual clothing.

Can we bring our childern or a plus one?

Answer

We love your little ones and your loved ones, but due to space and planning, we're keeping our guest list limited. Only those specifically listed on your invitation or shown on your RSVP form on the site are invited. If your children or a plus one is included, you'll see their names there. Thank you so much for understanding and celebrating with us!

Where should we park?

Answer

There will be free parking nearest the Lodge and additional parking across the road as well. Please park on the paved portions and refrain from parking on grass or rock surfaces.

Will there be food? Whats on the menu?

Answer

During cocktail hour, we’ll have light snacks available after the ceremony. Once the reception begins, dinner will be served. Our menu includes: Honey-Glazed Rotisserie Chicken Roasted Potatoes Sautéed Green Beans Butter Yeast Rolls Mixed Veggie Salad Water, Sweet Tea, and Lemonade Cake (of course) If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know!

Will there be alcoholic drinks available?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a complimentary bar offering beer and wine—and the beer is lovingly home-brewed by our best man and his brother! A full list of what’s available will be posted at the event. We kindly ask that you enjoy responsibly and please don’t drink and drive.
