Where can I stay?

Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
We're having a festival/boho inspired wedding - so as bright as you can be! But, please no white dresses!

What about gifts?
Answer
It is your presence, not your presents that are important to us on our special day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we would be grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
With respect, our wedding will be an adult only event, with the exception of immediate family of the bride and groom. Please take this opportunity to let your hair down!

Where can I park?
Answer
There is a large parking field outside the reception venue, Scrivelsby Walled Garden. We recommend you park here and walk over to St. Benedicts Church, which will only take a few minutes. This will be clearly signposted. You are welcome to leave your car parked overnight, but we ask that you collect it by 11am on the Sunday morning.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to headcount limitations at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those named on your invitation.

Can I take photographs on the day?
Answer
We will be having an unplugged ceremony (no mobile phones or cameras), so please do not take photos during this time. We have an amazing professional photographer to capture these memories which we will of course share with you. Please feel free to take as many photos as you like before and after the ceremony. Please refrain from posting any photos of the bride or groom on social media until we have had opportunity to do so!

What are we eating?
Answer
We are having a platter style wedding breakfast, so no need to send your food choices in. However, if you have any special dietary requirements please make sure you include these on your RSVP, and we can try our best to accommodate this for you. Our wedding breakfast is set to start late afternoon/early evening, so we recommend you have breakfast and lunch prior to your arrival.

Where is the Church and Reception Venue?
Answer
Both are located in the village of Scrivelsby, Horncastle, Lincolnshire. We recommend you park in the car park at Scrivelsby Walled Garden and walk over the field to St. Benedicts Church to prevent having to move your car in between! The walk is only a couple of minutes.

Is there a bar?

Of course! A fully stocked bar will be provided taking both cash and card payments.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
There is a tab at the top of this website called RSVP. Please follow instructions on there. We ask that you RSVP by the 30th June 2025 to allow us suitable time to update our suppliers and finalise our seating plan.
