It was a beautiful day in June 2019. I just briefly stopped to say hi to another friend, and that was where I first saw Mayi. I asked my friend who she was, and she said her name. I said Hi to Mayi, and she responded in her usual shy manner and continued with what she was doing. Coincidentally, we were leaving my friend's place almost at the same time and in the same direction. I offered to drop her off, and she agreed; when I dropped her off, I immediately searched for her on IG to see who she was, and I got interested again. I called my friend and said I would visit her again the next day only if Mayi would be around, and my friend got Mayi to show up at her place. The next day, I dressed up and went there like I hadn't planned to. Mayi responded positively then, and I again offered to drop her off. While on our way, I bought Shawarma for us, and we continued gisting till I dropped her off. From then, we kept going to try different restaurants and driving around; now, I want to drive and try new stuff with her for the rest of our lives.
