We’re getting married

Our story began in July 2024, thanks to a mutual friend, Poe Ei, who introduced us to each other. What started as casual group lunches on our days off slowly became something much more meaningful. Our unofficial first date was simple but unforgettable — spending time together at the YMCA before heading to Wingstop afterward. From there, we continued getting to know each other through little moments, shared conversations, and spontaneous adventures. Then came September — the moment that changed everything. One late night, Alex invited May out for supper at a cozy Thai restaurant in Elmhurst. In the middle of dinner, we made a spontaneous decision to take the Metro-North to Cold Spring the very next morning. What was meant to be just a simple day trip became one of the most unforgettable days of our lives. We spent the day wandering through the charming town, hiking scenic trails, and admiring the peaceful beauty of the Hudson River. As we sat quietly by the water, surrounded by the calmness of the moment, Alex reached over and held May’s hand for the very first time. In that quiet, gentle moment, something shifted between us. Without even realizing it, we had begun falling for each other — slowly, naturally, and wholeheartedly. Today, we are beyond grateful for every moment that brought us here — from late-night dinners and train rides to building a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure together.
