What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to be there by 2pm in order to find parking, grab a drink, and take a seat. The ceremony starts at 2:30pm.

Answer

We are celebrating in a park so there are a few things to consider. - Most of the seating will be at picnic tables but there will be some tables and regular chairs set up for those that are more comfortable with that option. - There will be plenty of shade either under the picnic shelter roof or nearby trees. - The wedding site is grassy (except the picnic shelter which is cement) and mostly flat, bathrooms are nearby and accessible. - The closest parking lot is about 50 yards from the wedding site. Since this is a public parking area it could get busy during the summer so if it is full you may have to park a little further away. - There is a $5 parking fee, payable at the entrance. Is there a dress code?

BIG NO! We want everyone to be comfortable, and since this shindig is happening outside in summer, think picnic party more than fancy wedding gear. Ladies, heels would be a bad idea (mostly grass) but wedges should be ok. We suggest bringing a light jacket in case it gets breezy :)

What is the food and drink situation?

Answer

We will have beer, wine, and plenty of non alcoholic beverages. We will have a picnic buffet with sandwiches, salad, etc along with dessert. There should be something for everyone (GF, V, VG, NF, etc).

Nope, ceremony and reception are in the same location.
