Mackenzie & Matt are tying the knot!

Matt and Mackenzie first met in the summer of 2012 at the corner of Highland Ave and Ocean St as they walked to the high school for their laptop pickups for the school year. Bonding over a shared love of marching band, Matt and Mackenzie quickly became best friends and had their first date in September - a viewing party of the movies that had inspired their high school marching band show that year - the Music of the West. From then on, they have been inseparable. Together they’ve experienced 3 years of long distance, 2 high school proms and 2 college senior formals, 4 graduations, their first cars and their first apartment, and enough sushi to feed a pod of whales. After 6 years together, Matt popped the question on one knee right under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. Even though Matt had not fulfilled Mackenzie’s request that he finish all the Harry Potter books before proposing, she, of course, said yes, and the two could not be more excited for their future together.
