FAQs

Question

Are keiki welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but you deserve a night out! This wedding is for the adults only! Babies under 12 months are welcome :)

Question

We are boarding a train?

Answer

All aboard! Please arrive promptly at 3:30pm. Your train will depart at 3:45pm. Upon arrival, head to the Kauai Plantation Railway depot - located past the main house at the end of the parking lot, to the left of the Koloa Rum & Luau entrance. You will not be able to get to the ceremony + reception site on your own. We recommend bringing anything you will need during the evening with you - you will not return to the parking lot until you depart. We are planning two departure times at the end of the night, (est) 9pm and 11pm. Please reach out to us if you need to depart earlier or by a specific time, we will help coordinate!

Question

Is there a dress code / what is tropical chic?

Answer

Mainland friends, Hawaii weddings are much more casual - no need to pack a jacket and tie. Tropical/Aloha prints and bright colors are encouraged! Guys: Aloha Shirt, Slacks, and Shoes Ladies: Cocktail attire! If you are opting for heels, please keep in mind that you will be in a grass field. (I recommend a thicker heel or wedge / bring a pair of sandals for dancing!)

Question

How do I get around Kauai?

Answer

We recommend renting a car for your time on island. Please do not rely on public transportation / ride share.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Poipu. Please see our travel tab for recommendations! Another great place to search is VRBO. Please reach out to us with any questions!
