Tessa and Tyler met working at Camp Silver Lake in Bellingham, MA the summer of 2017. On their first date they watched Moana at Tyler's house after work one day. Tessa was introduced to most of Tyler's friends that first day as Mike and Linda, Tyler's parent's, door was always open to his friend even if Tyler wasn't around. His phone was broken so he had no way of letting them know he was bringing Tessa with him. Their next date would be at Noon Hill reservation for a hike where Tyler would propose 8 years later. About a month after they started dating, Tessa left to study abroad in Seville, Spain and they began what would become three years of long distance while Tessa finished school in North Carolina.
