We're getting married!

Sometime early this past summer, Brett began talking about how he wanted to see his sister, brother-in-law, and nephew in College Station, also the home of Texas A&M University. As it had been mentioned several times, Chelsea thought nothing of it when Brett asked to go there the last weekend of July. The ruse continued as Brett claimed to want to go for a walk to "see the new engineering building"...it was approximately 105 degrees outside. Having not gone to A&M, Chelsea didn't catch on until the last minute or so. Brett proposed at the Texas A&M Century Tree, a beloved landmark on campus of one of the first trees planted there. Tradition says that if a marriage proposal takes place under the tree, the marriage will last forever. Long story short, Chelsea said yes! And we can't wait to make it official in April! Love, B&C
