We are getting married!

In today's wild world of dating, sometimes we need some help. That's where Hinge came in.. I mean it's designed to be deleted, right? Trey messaged Shanna first- he skipped the small talk and went straight for the kill, "What are you doing tomorrow?" Shanna agreed- who could say no to a date at Sportstown?? After our first date, we knew that we had found something special in each other and we even saw each other the very next day. The rest is history! Funny thing is, we went to the same college (Go Gators), had a ton of mutual friends, and we even went to the same bars (Shout out Salty Dog). We find it so strange that we never met in College, but I guess that's why they say "we plan, God laughs".

After we booked our vacation at Zion National Park, Shanna's spidey senses were kicking in... could this be the trip that Trey proposes??? After a very convincing conversation with Trey's sister, Tina, Shanna wiped it out of her brain as a potential proposal spot. Trey had a sunset hike planned for Shanna's birthday and convinced Shanna to dress "nice-ish" so we could take some photos. After getting lost and Trey trying not to panic (without Shanna knowing), we finally found the lookout spot. We wandered around and took in the breathtaking views. Then, Trey told Shanna he had a birthday gift for her and told her to close her eyes. She opened her eyes and started laughing and crying at the same time - It was finally happening and Trey had the ring box stuck in his pocket for a solid minute- poor guy decided to get down on one knee before taking the ring box out! Overall, it was such a special moment and Zion National Park will always have a special place in our hearts!
