Getting Around During Your Trip

THANK YOU for agreeing to be a part of this special weekend. We appreciate everyone who can come into town to make this lifetime event memorable! To simplify your trip, events are conveniently located in a walkable area of Asheville. This means you don't necessarily need to rent a car, unless you plan on taking some road trips during your free time. There is definitely a lot to do in this beautiful area, and we will be taking advantage! (Take a look at our THINGS TO DO page!) Several rideshare options are available, and shuttle service will be provided from the hotels to the Biltmore Estate at intervals for the ceremony.

Flight

Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)

For our guests arriving by air, the Asheville Regional Airport is served by six airlines that provide nonstop service to 25 unique airport destinations. It is reasonably easy to navigate, but it occasionally experiences congestion due to its current renovation and expansion. Without traffic or construction delays, rideshare and car rental are about a 20-minute trip from the airport to the hotel. Direct bus routes are also available, which may range between 45 minutes and an hour.

The Restoration Asheville

Wedding Party Hotel! Or should we say, "the Party Hotel for wedding festivities!" This is the primary hotel suggested for out-of-town guests. It reflects the energy and culture of the community we seek to share with you during your stay in Asheville. May you carry this spirit with you through the weekend! On Friday, you will meet us at the rooftop Observatory and Terrace to enjoy the stunning views of the sky, mountains, and cityscapes, where we will be featuring outstanding wines, craft drinks, and mocktails. We will then step into the adjacent Solarium for dinner, followed by an afterparty on the lower ground level in the Draftsmen Bar & Lounge for all who remain young at heart, willing to play some classic games, bowl, or just hang and catch up. Our room block is now closed. There is still room availability, and you may book directly by calling Manager Lindsay Helm at (440) 413-5554 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Haywood Park Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This historic boutique hotel embodies classic early 20th-century elegance and is listed in the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a member of Historic Hotels of America. Located in Asheville’s historic Bon Marche department store building, the classic-revival style architecture sets the stage for a memorable visit and is an excellent choice for our guests. Soak in the local culture and explore the shops, coffee, and food downtown. This boutique hotel also has limited capacity. It is a quick walk around the corner to get to Friday evening’s events at The Restoration Asheville. But don’t worry! You can stop in at Ben & Jerry’s and grab one of our favorites: ice cream! Our room block is now closed. There is still room availability, and you may book directly.

The Inn on Biltmore Estate

The Biltmore invites our guests to stay at a special reduced rate based on available inventory. Consider experiencing one of their splendid overnight resort properties. The Inn on Biltmore Estate offers gracious hospitality, four-star dining, beautifully renovated rooms, and the level of service for which the Vanderbilts were renowned. The Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate is a more casual, self-service lodging option on the estate. This charming part of the estate has something fun for everyone. It is short stroll from the shops, restaurants, and Winery of Antler Hill Village. It is steps away from walking, hiking, and biking trails to the Farmyard, Bike Barn, and Pisgah Playground. The Biltmore’s private, gated estate is a unique mountain oasis of 8,000 acres of natural beauty.
