If you're able to arrive early or stay a few a more days, there are so many things to do! - Alcatraz (book in advance) - Ride Cable cars (get a day pass) and visit the free Cable Car museum on the side of Nob Hill. (Jeff visits this museum once every few months.) -Visit the Ferry Building for waterfront views and shopping. -Visit the oldest Chinatown in the United States and get Dim Sum. -Head to Presidio Tunnel Tops National Park for some spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, and a trip through a wonderfully preserved part of the city: The Presidio.
