What we thought would be another typical Friday night out in downtown Fort Lauderdale with friends, ended up being a night that would change our lives forever. Jake was standing at a table with his friend and May walked up with her friends and claimed, "this is my table now, but you guys can stay." We did not waste any time hopping into conversation and within the first 2 minutes May pulled Jakes necklace out from under his shirt to make sure it was a Star of David. Things were never the same! The conversation went on and Jake knew this was love at first sight. We spoke everyday since that night, and bonded over how we are both obsessed with our families, how cute Sunny girl is, our love for Israeli music, and of course our love of good food. When it was time for May to go back to Chicago, of course Jake joined and the rest is history! Not only are May and Jake the perfect match, but the Pelman's and Doobrow's have truly become one big happy family! We cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of our favorite people!
