About a 2 hour drive to Vail, depending on traffic. We recommend renting a vehicle or using a shuttle service.

House Or Rental
There are tons of great house rental options on Airbnb and Vrbo if a hotel isn't your style! We recommend looking in Vail, Avon, or Edwards, but anywhere in the surrounding area is really nice.
Travel Note
This is a shuttle option for those that don't want to rent a car or drive. It can pick you up from Union Station in Denver and take you to Vail. We have personally used this bus, and it's a great option! Fare: around $17
