Question

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

No, this will be a reception only. We were legally married at the Clackamas County Courthouse on March 7, 2025. We didn't have the chance to celebrate with everyone until now!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress semi-formal if you can, but wear what is comfortable for you!

Question

What's up with this venue?

Answer

The event will be in the Octagonal Barn at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. There will be signs showing you the way to the barn. The event will be indoors, but since it'll be in March it may still be a bit cold out. If weather allows, there may be yard games outside in the grass.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

The venue is a McMenamins, which has its own parking lot right off of Cornelius Pass Rd. Try to carpool if possible to save on parking spaces (and for the Earth, of course).

Question

What will we eat?

Answer

There will be three appetizer options, two of which are gluten free and vegetarian. Dinner will be buffet-style, with the main course options including turkey, ham, and a vegetarian ravioli. There will be gluten free and dairy free options, but the McMenamin's kitchen is not allergen free, so there is the possibility of cross contamination. We will have a large dessert selection, including some items from Sinful Confections, a dedicated gluten and dairy free bakery!

Question

What about drinks?

Answer

There will be an open bar available up to a certain spend limit, at which point the drinks will no longer be free. There will be numerous non-alcoholic beverages available, including water, coffee, tea, soda, fruit punch, and sparkling apple cider.
