We're getting married!

We met over a weekend in Winthrop, at a gathering of Jesse’s family and friends to watch the Perseids meteor shower. Maya was invited to join by an old high school friend, who also happened to be Jesse’s new step-sister. We started dating after that weekend of star gazing, fishing, and long conversations, and have been together ever since.

Jesse proposed at May Creek, nearby where we live now and take our dog swimming, and has always reminded us of the river in Winthrop where we first spent time alone together.
