Almost there! If you haven't RSVP'd by now...see ya later! (Just kidding/actually not kidding at. all.) Our venue will be checking proof of vaccination at the door, so bring it, please--card or app is fine. Otherwise, come thirsty and hungry; we can't wait to see ya!

Hot and fresh out the kitchen.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Final RSVPs for your attendance are needed by October 10th, the latest. If you can, please reply earlier to give us the best idea re: numbers for optimal pandemic event design.

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

YUP. All guests are required to have at least one shot of any COVID-19 vaccine two weeks prior to the wedding. If this isn’t enough of a reason to get vaccinated, WHAT IS?! This definitely is.

Question

What am I supposed to wear?!

Answer

It's Halloween. Wear a costume. Put some work into it; it's also a wedding. No costume? We call BS, however black-tie is also a costume and more than welcome!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have to ask, then no.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

NOPE. Sorry, but this is an adults-only affair for various reasons: - The space is large, but there are plenty of spots where kids can get into all kinds of trouble. - Two words: Open. Bar. - There will be candy EVERYWHERE. Sweet, energizing, choke-able candies.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, indeed! You can find gifts on this site, which links up to our Amazon registry. Otherwise, we're not going to kick ca$h m0n3y out of bed.

Question

Will there be a hotel block?

Answer

Nah, sorry. A vast majority of you live in the NYC area or have family to stay with. Depending on your needs, there are a number of spots near The Green Building (Gowanus neighborhood) that you might want to check out for deals: https://www.hotels.com/nh10819092/hotels-in-gowanus-brooklyn-new-york/ And, of course, there's always Airbnb or Vrbo.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Maya can't eat a ridiculous number of things so if there aren't food options for you, we'd be shocked. There will be vegan, nondairy, and non-beef food options, and we'll keep as many sauces and toppings on the side so you can customize your eats. However, please do let us know if you have severe food allergies—especially if airborne!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes and no because it's New York City. It will be much easier and may be more enjoyable for you to take a Lyft or use another ride-sharing service. If you are driving, though, a note from our venue: We do not have a parking lot, but occasionally there is non-metered, street parking available on the streets surrounding the venue. There is also a QuikPark garage located at 365 Bond Street, which is approximately a four (4) minute walk from the venue. Should you or your guests need directions or a car service at the end of the evening, our host will happily assist

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

More to come for other wedding weekend festivities, but we can tell you now that the ceremony and reception will be at the same venue!

Question

Again: Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

YUP.

For all the days along the way
