Our story didn't start with a classic romance; it started at a Halloween party on October 28th. I was dressed as a nurse, and Mitchell showed up as 'Adidas Man', which, for the record, wasn't actually a costume. Despite the sea of costumes around us, we only had eyes for each other. The connection was so instant that we couldn’t wait to see each other again. Three days later, on Halloween night, we had our first official date. It was perfectly low-key: Mitchell brought over Twizzlers and popcorn, we turned on Monster House, and somewhere between the snacks and the movie, we realized this was it.
