October of 2017, we met at a birthday party! Michael's cousin, Maya's friend was celebrating their birthday and we saw each other there for the first time! As some of you may know Michael was super shy, so we hardly spoke any words to each other that day. Luckily, we saw each other pretty frequently (even though we didn't go to school together). We eventually became friends, and after a couple of months we finally went on our first date! We were 14/15 years old at the time so the local movie theatre was our go to! We were probably at the theatre at least twice a month! We spent so much time there that we even had our first kiss in the arcade! We spent SO much time there that Maya got her first job there! lol Things sadly ended after 6 months lol BUT THATS OKAY! Anyways fast forward to 2019 we rekindled and have been together since! Throughout the past 9 years, we both have grown so much. We experienced so much independently and together! Heck, we're planning a wedding while being 6 THOUSAND miles away from each other. Although the distance has been hard for the both of us, we wouldn't change our journey for the world! It has taught us so much about each other and most importantly ourselves! Now in just a few short months, the distance will close and we get to conquer and explore what the world has to offer us! May God continue to bless us and our love, as we start our new journey!
