Question

Do I need to know the specifics of a Jewish Wedding to participate?

Answer

You do not. We will explain everything you need to know. There may or may not be informational slides...

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is PNW Semi-Formal. So suit-up, but don't bother with tuxedoes or overly formal gowns if you don't want to. You may also wear your own culture's traditional clothing. At least one member of the wedding party will be in a kilt. The venue is on the beach, so shoes are optional, but we'd still recommend wearing them to the venue because Seattle is a dirty place.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

NOW! Do it now. Don't wait. DO IT NOW.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

...Maybe? Ask first. Preferably after April 1st.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! As long as they're your kids... In truth, we even planned for them to be there! The venue is on a beach and there is an excellent playground directly out the other side. There are even a few kids in the wedding party.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a discount at The Staypinapple Watertown Hotel. You can use the "WED" promo code which applies a special discount of up to 15%. You can also use the code for any Staypinapple hotels, we just recommend the Watertown Hotel as it is a convenient location to the venue and in a fun neighborhood! We can also recommend other options based on your price point - many people are booking Airbnbs near the venue. We recommend nearby neighborhoods such as Ballard, Magnolia, Fremont, Wallingford, U District, Phinney Ridge, etc.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You may!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We'd heavily recommend carpooling or hiring a ride share (e.g. Uber, Lyft, etc.). There is very limited parking since the venue is also a popular public beach and it will be Labor Day weekend.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Venue will open @ 2:30 pm, but please try and be there earlier if you're looking for parking. It could be difficult to find. Ceremony @ 3 pm, reception @ 4. Note: If you're late, we will pause the ceremony to silently watch you as you try to find your seat... ;)

For all the days along the way
