When is the wedding ceremony and who’s invited?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place Friday afternoon and will be an intimate affair with a small group of friends and family.

What’s the schedule for the weekend?

Answer

Friday - Monday: Camping and celebrating! We’ll be hanging out around the campfire, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time together. Feel free to join us for any or all of the weekend!

Where will we be camping?

Answer

We’ve reserved a group camping spot at the upper meadow at Kennedy Meadows—it's just a short walk from the resort. You can set up your tent, or bring the RV! There is plenty of space for everyone. Kennedy Meadows does have cabins for rent, however, they book almost a year in advance. You can call to put yourself on a waitlist for cancellations or keep an eye on their Facebook for last-minute cabin openings.

Do I need to bring my own camping gear?

Answer

Yes, please! Since it’s camping, you'll need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag, camp chair, and any other gear you would like for the weekend. Please let us know if you need any help with your packing list.

Will there be food during the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We will have food and drinks to share. We encourage snacks and drinks you would like during your stay. There is food items on our registry as well. You’ll also have access to food at the Kennedy Meadows café general store and throughout the weekend if you’d like to grab something quick between meals. The saloon is always a fun time, but make sure you bring cash!

Are there bathrooms and showers at the campground?

Answer

Yes, portapotties will be available at the campground. Additionally, there are bathrooms and showers at the resort. You can buy shower tokens at the general store.

What should I bring?

Answer

Tent, sleeping bag, and camping gear Layers for warmth in the evenings (even if it’s warm during the day) A flashlight or headlamp Sunscreen and bug spray Reusable water bottle Food and any special drinks you want to enjoy for the weekend. Water! A comfy camp chair or blanket for sitting around the campfire Cash for the saloon Bathing Suit and floaties if you would like to play in the river or head down to Pinecrest Lake Boots and jeans if you would like to go horseback riding

Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?

Answer

For the most part, no - Cell service is very limited once you reach the mountains. There’s basic Wi-Fi in the office, but we recommend downloading maps and any key info before heading up. There is a payphone available at the office.
