In 2022, Maya and Elissander met through online dating, not knowing that a few exchanged messages would soon lead to the rest of their lives. Maya was of course a little late and Eli was a gentleman and waited! Together they made the date last as long as possible which resulted in lots of laughter, a spontaneous Christmas show, and some Crumble cookies. From that day on, life became a little sweeter, a little sillier, and a lot more adventurous. Over time, their love deepened as they built a life filled with watching their favorite shows, spending time with friends and family, walks with their dogs, and shared curiosity for the world around them. Whether they were exploring somewhere new or just trying a new recipe at home, every day together felt like the start of something exciting. In August 2024, during a beautiful moment surrounded by love and memories, Elissander popped the question—and Maya said YESSS!
