Question

Do I have to stay at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall or Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall?

Answer

No, you are more then welcome to make other hotel/rental arrangements while you are in Jamaica, after all this is your vacation too. However, keep in mind, if you choose to stay at other accommodations, you will be required to purchase a ‘Wedding Day Pass” at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall hotel the day of the wedding. The cost is $191 USD per non-Hotel wedding attendee. Wedding Day Passes are effective thirty (30) minutes before the wedding ceremony scheduled time and are valid until the end of the wedding reception (up to five (5) hours from the wedding ceremony scheduled time). Wedding attendees using a Wedding Day Pass are welcome to use any bar in the Hotel during their time at the Hotel (restaurants are excluded) If any wedding attendee not staying at the Hotel wants to attend any of the Wedding Events (other than the wedding ceremony and reception), such wedding attendee shall purchase a regular Hotel Day pass at an additional charge for each day they want to enter the Hotel premises and attend any of the Wedding Events.

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our Wedding Ceremony is Tropical Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a long or short-sleeved button-down shirt with slacks or shorts. For ladies we recommend a tropical dress or dressy separates, like a colorful top and skirt/pants. Please no blue jeans. We want everyone to feel comfortable, keep in mind it can be quite warm and humid in Jamaica.

Question

Can I wear Camo in Jamaica?

Answer

Please leave your camouflage print at home. In Caribbean countries such as St. Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica, and Barbados, it's ILLEGAL to wear camouflage because it's a part of the military uniform.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our Wedding Ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Question

Answer

Question

Are children invited to all wedding events?

Answer

Question

Currency & Tipping

Answer

The Jamaican dollar (JMD) is the official currency of Jamaica, but US dollars are often widely accepted in tourist/resort areas, especially in tourist areas, hotels, restaurants and shops. Tipping is not expected at an all-inclusive resort and is typically included in your all inclusive package, however, guests that receive exceptional service tend to leave a tip to the staff.

Question

Can we bring our own wine?

Answer

Yes, for all you Napa locals out there, you are permitted to bring your own wine to the resort.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding? Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, take and share as many photos as possible. We are excited to share this day with you and want you to remember it just as much as we will.
