Maya and Taylor met at a house party in their second year of undergrad at UC San Diego in 2015. In the five years that they lived together, they spent many hours cooking, listening to country music, cheering on the Dodgers, and watching Disney movies/Criminal Minds.

Cullen and Jacob first met in middle school but really bonded in high school. They eventually formed a strong friendship that has continued to last through college, being roommates, and many adventures (or shenanigans).

Olivia Sherwood

Maya and Olivia met while in their Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2019. They bonded over a love for breweries and Disney movies! This bond strengthened as they spent many hours together for school during the pandemic.

Bronson Oullette

Cullen and Bronson met slinging dough at Woodstock's Pizza in 2017, became roommates, then traveled the world together. They enjoy checking out countless surf breaks as lifelong surf buddies.

Kneka Marshall

Maya and Kneka met in 2014 while coaching recreational gymnastics at UC San Diego, eventually running gymnastics summer camp together. They got even closer while working together at a physical therapy clinic and many late night trips to Regents Pizza.

Cameron Broome

Cameron was one of the first good friends Cullen made when he moved to the Univ. of Nevada, Reno in 2016. He introduced him into the city, got them into some sweet off-roading trails, shooting guns in the mountains, and helped make the place feel like a new home.

Briana Rodriguez

Maya and Briana met in 2019 while in their Doctor of Physical Therapy program. They bonded over baseball and country music while completing many hours of group projects.

One of Cullen's oldest friends (evidenced by picture), from Kindergarten learning the ABC's in Spanish to AP Spanish in high school, from junior lifeguards to being Lifeguards, and to still being great friends to date.

Kira Shimamura

Kira is Maya's younger sister and spent her early years being cared for by Maya giving her the nickname "Mama Maya". They now spend their time together conquering Escape Rooms and watching countless crime shows such as Bones and Criminal Minds.

Kylle Weese

Cullen's and Kylle met at 5 years old and spent many days playing little league baseball, going to the skatepark, surfing, and camping. They created countless fun memories throughout their youth, family, and life. Peace to the Weese.

While our flower child will not be attending in-person, she is celebrating in spirit from the comfort of our home. She has a long list of things to tend to such as maintaining the underside of the couch and bed, neighborhood watch, squirrel watching, bird watching, and bug hunting.

Cullen's only sibling and younger brother for 25 years, has become the Eagle Scout of the family, certified scuba diver, co-family mountain rider, and new restaurant consigliere.
