Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We recommend dressing in a garden party and/or semi-formal attire. Ultimately, we would prefer you to dress in a manner that is comfortable enough to be outside for the ceremony. We expect it will be warm since it is mid-late afternoon in June. The reception will take place inside of the York Auditorium, and the first dance will take place on the patio of the York Auditorium, weather permitting.

Where can I park?

Answer

JC Raulston has requested all guests park on the street across from the main entrance of JC Raulston Arboretum and not at the main parking lot by the office. However, you may drop off anyone closer to the front entrance by going through the front parking lot as necessary. Carpooling is encouraged!

Where is the White Garden?

Answer

There will be signage to guide and direct you on site!

What if it rains?

Answer

If the weather is severe, we will hold the ceremony in the York Auditorium where we also plan to have the reception. However, if there is light rain, we will still plan to hold the ceremony at the White Garden but with tents to keep our guests comfortable and dry.

Will there be Vegetarian Options?

Answer

We will have a buffet-style dinner with chicken, beef, and vegetarian options. We have accounted for food allergy friendly options for our guests as well!

What if I can no longer attend?

Answer

We completely understand that life circumstances may arise or something may occur that makes it difficult for you to attend! We always prioritize your comfort and health first and foremost. Please reach out to either Maya (mhoon9707@gmail.com) or Andrew (yount.andrew@gmail.com) as soon as you are aware you are unable to attend!
