FAQs

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

While we would love to see your children, we decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event (the only exceptions being the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). We hope you understand & can enjoy a fun date night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for our evening. This would mean men can wear a suit with a tie, while women can opt for a floor-length gown or a dressy cocktail dress. Wear whatever color you like, but please, do not wear white!

Question

What time is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The ceremony will last about 1 hour. There will be roughly 2.5 hours between the ceremony and reception where you are free to do whatever you like! Cocktail hour begins at 5:30pm at the Ellis with dinner and dancing to follow.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There is a parking lot at St. John the Baptist where you can park for free. There is also paid street parking available. Our reception venue, the Ellis, is about a 5 minute walk around the corner from the church. For the reception, you are still able to park in the St. John’s parking lot. We ask that any cars planning to park overnight be left in St. John's parking lot.

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

April 30th

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

Your presence will be missed. Please RSVP "Regretfully Decline." If you have RSVP'd attending, but find that you can no longer make it, please notify Maya or Andy as soon as possible.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

You can do whatever you’d like! Feel free to check out any of our recommendations under the “things to do” tab or go back to your hotel/airbnb for a bit. There are a lot of bars and restaurants on 4th street next to the church that would all be great options for killing time!
