Our wedding is a semi-formal or a cocktail event, so we encourage you to wear attire a step up from your Sunday best. We are requesting no jeans to be worn as this is a very a special day for us. Below we have outlined a better description for everyone to follow: Women should wear a nice cocktail dress or dressy separates/pantsuit. Length and style is completely up to you, the more fun the better! Keep in mind, the venue is mostly cobblestone brick pathways so block heels are recommended over stilettos. No broken ankles please! The bride requests you refrain from wearing a wedding dress or anything similar in color, but if that's really all you have to wear, a oversized t-shirt will be provided upon arrival. For men, you can wear a suit or sports jacket and dress shirt. Think more formal than what you would wear to an office, but slightly less formal than what you would wear to a formal event.
First things first, we want all of our guests to feel safe and have fun. It is highly recommended for our unvaccinated guests to home-test before attending the big day. We are trying to accommodate everyone, including elderly, children and our higher risk guests. Of course, if you are feeling ill leading up to our day, please do not hesitate to stay home. Your presence will be missed but the health and wellbeing of our loved ones is ultimately more important in the end. We appreciate your understanding with the guidelines put in place. Cheers!
April 15th, 2023 is the deadline to RSVP. Due to the nature of the event if we do not get an RSVP back by the intended deadline, it will be marked as "No".
This will be an adult-only event with the exception of select children. If your children are not listed on your invitation, please find a sitter, bring your dancing shoes and enjoy a date night with us!
In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only.
Both the ceremony and reception will be at a outdoor covered/tented area. Typically the last month of the spring in Kentucky is a warm month, with an average temperature fluctuating between 75º-85º during the day.
