It was a random Friday night in August of 2017, Hannah was with her friend Cammie relaxing and Maxwell was having his usual video game and beer night with his buddy John. Cammie told Hannah about Maxwell and that she needed to meet this new guy. Cammie eventually convinced Hannah and they went to John's house together. Maxwell had no idea Hannah was coming and when she got there he was in his sweatpants drinking beer and watching a basketball game with John. Hannah, being the sports fanatic that she is, asked him "What's the score of the basketball game?" She asked this even though the TV was right behind her, but someone had to break the ice. Maxwell told her the score and now to this day it is an ongoing joke because she definitely knew the score before even asking him. They instantly hit it off and Maxwell took her long "thunderstruck" drinking game chug for her and she knew then, he was the one for her. Fast forward 6 years, December 16th to be exact, and Hannah was having her annual get together with her best friends. Later in the night they started their white elephant gift exchange and the girls told Hannah, "We have one more surprise for you, but you have to be blindfolded". As most of you know Hannah can occasionally be oblivious to situations, so she did not expect anything of it. After putting on the blindfold, the girls started to pull her into the living room. She began to hear the song that she and Maxwell had picked out for the first dance at their future wedding, and her stomach dropped. They ripped the blindfold off and he was down on one knee proposing. It was everything she could have asked for and more. These two dates will always mean so much to them, but they cannot wait for the best date of all! 6/14/24 - xoxo
