There is a schedule tab on our website. The ceremony will start at 3 pm. We will have an overflow area outside, or in a side room at the church (weather depending), where we will attempt to live-stream the wedding! Now the real fun begins…At the conclusion of the ceremony, we will then parade from the church through downtown Gulfport to the Casino where our reception will be held. We envision a Mardi Gras style parade, so we would like to encourage you all to bring a small pocket-size instrument or noisemaker to help us make this a truly hilarious and memorable event. Upon our arrival at the casino, we will enjoy a cocktail hour starting at 4 pm, followed by; dinner, dancing, drinks, and some awesome live music.
Fellas, we aren’t interested in a black tie affair, but would love everyone to come dressed to impress. Lady-fellas, feel free to dress to the nines, or a more semi-formal look like a cocktail dress, sundress, or romper. Also ladies, the walk from the church to the casino is about a half-mile. Pick your shoes accordingly! To all the “Florida Men”…no board shorts at this shindig
The average temperature in February is a high of 70 and low of 59. With that being said, it is hard to tell until closer to the day. We recommend you pack a light jacket incase the day of the wedding is cooler. There is good chance more sunny “beach weather” though!
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. However, we will be walking from the church to the casino, and will also have a few tables setup outside for cocktail hour. It is too soon to know the weather, but it’s never a bad idea to have a jacket/sweater/shall with you.
We want ya’ll to have the time of your life so we strongly encourage using a ride share service. Uber and Lyft are both very prominent in our area. For those who plan to drive, there is parking at the church, street parking, as well as a very large public lot next to the casino. Keep in mind if you park at the public lot down by the water, you will have to walk about a half-mile to the church for the ceremony. Cars are allowed to remain in the public lot overnight.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3 pm. Indoor seating at the church is limited so give yourself ample time to arrive, park, and get situated. If it looks like you are running late, no worries. Plenty of folks will be outside the church waiting to join the parade.
We are doing a taco bar that will accommodate gluten free and vegetarian bellies. There will also be shellfish at our cocktail hour. If you have any other dietary restrictions please contact Max or Hannah directly!
We will be sponsoring the bar, but it will turn to a cash/cc bar towards the end of the evening.
Reception ends at 9pm, and we will be having an after party. The DJ will announce at the end of the night the specific location. Somewhere close!
We request no physical gifts unless you have something specific in mind, but feel free to surprise us! Registry link for some home items and honeymoon fund can be found towards the bottom of the website.
