Covid-19

Max and Christine have spent a lot of time discussing the merits of holding a full wedding and reception against the dangers this poses to them, their family, and their friends' health and safety. With a heavy heart they have elected to cancel the large celebration. They will still be getting married in a more intimate setting on November 7, 2020. Max and Christine are still working out the details of the livestream and video call. Please check back later for more details! **UPDATE** We will be streaming the ceremony live via Zoom and Facebook Live. Please see our SCHEDULE tab for information on the Zoom call. Please see the below link for the Facebook Group where we will be streaming via Facebook Live. https://www.facebook.com/groups/406469307044704

The Proposal

Max tried to surprise Christine with a trip to Niagara Falls for her birthday. Though he let the secret slip early, Max's real intentions remained hidden. They spent two full days exploring everything Niagara had to offer, from sitting lakeside and drinking ice wine in the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake to exploring the tunnels and getting soaked in the Beneath the Falls Tour. On their final night at Niagara, Max had made dinner reservations at the top of Skylon Tower, the highest point above the falls. After dinner, the two walked around the observation deck for a spell, navigating the crowds and loud blistering winds. Christine had taken in the view and was ready to depart, but Max had one more thing to do, he just needed a not so crowded and not so windy spot. Pretending to search his bag for sunglasses, Max got down on one knee and pulled out the ring upside down. He said "I'm sorry. Will you marry me?" She said "Yes."
