FAQs

💬 FAQ (aka: "Finally Answering Questions") You asked, we answered — everything you need to know before the big day (except how Chelsea always wins arguments… that's still under debate).
Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by June 26, 2026! If you can't attend, we would appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as "not attending," as we will send final head counts to vendors after this deadline - you will be missed!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive At The Ceremony

Answer

The Ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 PM. We recommend guests arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 PM, so there is time to find your seat, as seating is limited!

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

The wedding is an adults-only event except for those participating in the wedding. Please make prior arrangements for them and enjoy a date night with us!

Question

Is There A Dress Code

Answer

Yes! We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! Our dress code is Semi-Formal. Please beware that this event will be outdoors, but events will take place late enough in the day when it's cooler. No white/cream, no wedding colors (burgundy/gold) or neon colors please! Options for Women: Dresses: Knee-length, midi-length, or tea-length cocktail dresses are standard. Separates: A dressy skirt paired with an elegant blouse. Alternatives: A tailored jumpsuit or a sophisticated pantsuit. Fabrics/Details: Silk, satin, crepe, or chiffon. Details like off-the-shoulder, long sleeves, or subtle embellishments are appropriate. Footwear: Heels, dressy wedges, or formal flats. Options for Men Suit: A well-tailored suit (single or double-breasted) in charcoal, navy, or black is ideal for evening; lighter gray/blue for daytime. Shirt: A crisp, button-down dress shirt. Tie: A necktie or bowtie is generally expected, though it can be skipped.

Question

Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

Our wedding will be intimate and enjoyed with our closest family and friends. At this time, we are not extending plus ones. If your partner is invited, their name is included on your invitation!

Question

Can I Take Pictures Throughout The Ceremony?

Answer

We will have an "Unplugged" Ceremony to ensure we are fully present. We request that you turn off/silence all devices during the Ceremony. We have hired amazing photographers to capture this special moment and would be happy to send any pictures later. During Cocktail Hour and the Reception, please feel free to take as many images as you would like!

Question

Where Do I Park?

Answer

Ceremony: Downtown Plano has plenty of public parking surrounding the park. Reception: Parking is at Carlisle Elementary School (It is about a 5 minute walk) Limit Street Parking for Grandparents and Handicapped.
