Can I do a payment plan for my room?

Answer

Yes! Deposits only are needed right now then you can pay off your stay however you’d like with the deadline for final payment being October 2025. Deposits should be $100-$300 depending on room type, insurance, etc. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Destination Weddings Specialist. Why are there two different hotel areas to book? What side is the bride and groom staying in?

Answer

The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera has two "sides" but it's all one hotel. We are providing the option of staying at the Hacienda (family) side or Heaven (adults only) side incase people need to bring their children to the wedding. Max and Nicole will be staying on the Heaven (adult only) side which is something to consider. Those 18+ can go to both sides but those under 18 are not allowed at the Heaven side.

What is the +1 situation?

Answer

Couples are invited together. Singles are allowed a plus one. Please be specific and follow the prompts correctly when booking your stay to make sure everyone who is going is accounted for and the information you are sending is as accurate as possible for the hotel.

Are you allowing kids?

Answer

Kids are allowed, but please consider the following: We will have some child-free events which include bachelor/ette activities and the wedding ceremony. We have rooms blocked at both Hacienda (family side) and Heaven (adult side) at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya so our guests have the option to bring the whole family. Another helpful amenity we love is that Hard Rock Riviera Maya does have a Kids Club. It is designed for kids between 4 – 12 years old. Please call the hotel directly or visit their website to learn more. We are okay with parents bringing child care help (like a grandparent or nanny) to stay with them as extra guests if the family's travel plan can accommodate this. They would be welcome at all wedding events that the children are welcome to with the intent that during child-free events, they are to stay with the child so the parents can attend. Something else to consider is Max and Nicole are staying on the Heaven (adult side) of the hotel. Adults 18+ can go to both sides of the hotel (Hacienda and Heaven) but those under 18 have to stay on the Hacienda side. Especially if you are a VIP, keep this in consideration so you can go to their rooms for getting ready, other events, bachelor/ette activities, etc. Xcaret Park is child friendly, but the various activities are age dependent. Please double check Xcaret Park information to make sure your child can go (and most importantly will actually enjoy themselves!) or you may need to arrange child care that day depending on what you want to experience at Xcaret Park and the age of your children.

Can I stay at another property?

Answer

We need guests to all stay at the same property and book through Destination Weddings for a smooth event and check in process for all. Most events will take place at the hotel and you need to be a guest to enter.

How are guests getting to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

Guests are required to book through Destination Weddings and they arrange FREE transportation to the hotel from the airport.
