FAQs

The Wedding Website of Maxine Taylor and Conor O'Keefe
Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Dress code is Funky Cocktail. Think festive, not formal! Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, suits with personality, bold prints, bright colors; all welcome. The only real requirement? Be ready to dance and wear what makes you happy. When in doubt, go colorful!

Question

What kind of energy should I bring?

Answer

We ask everyone to come with an open heart and a spirit of PLUR — a value close to our hearts rooted in rave culture that stands for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. It's the unspoken code of the dance floor: leave judgment at the door, show up for one another, and create a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and celebrated. That's exactly the energy we want surrounding us on our wedding day. So whether you're a seasoned raver or have never stepped foot near a DJ booth — you already know how to do this. Be kind, be present, dance together, and help us hold this day as the sacred, joyful celebration it is.

Question

I don't listen to edm or Rave. Will I still have a good time?

Answer

Absolutely! You don't need to know a single song to have the time of your life. EDM is made for movement, energy, and pure joy, and that's exactly the atmosphere we're creating. Check out our short Spotify playlist here with a few songs to get you “warmed up”! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3rBqmxXXixiPpV1KqvjTsA?si=D_JNyj7tQRujZ5xfFpC_vQ&pi=fQCibSg5QiKuR
